Erin “D*J*E” Jacobson is a hard-working law student by day and a music maven by night.

As a law student, Erin is pursuing her dream of becoming an entertainment lawyer, specifically in the music realm. She is the President of her school’s Entertainment and Sports Law Society and Student Liaison to the American Bar Association’s Forum Committee on Entertainment and Sports Industries Law.

On the music side, Erin owns D*J*E Entertainment, the parent company for all her entertainment projects:

Electric Effect is the premier podcast radio show featuring the best unsigned and indie bands in Los Angeles that Erin writes, produces, and hosts. Erin has been in radio since 2003 hosting her own weekly radio show on KSCR in Los Angeles where she laid the foundation for Electric Effect, by having many independent bands in the studio for interviews and live performances.

Eclectric Ink is Erin’s music review column published monthly in The Commentator, as well as on this site.
